Direct Replacement Grips for the Springfield Prodigy double-stack 1911

These early versions are compatible with the Dawson Precision Ice Magwell (magwell NOT included) and most other magwells for STI / Staccato Gen I grips

• Matte finish Stainless Steel
• Includes mag release (as pictured) and mainspring housing
• Available in Chainlink or Aggressive Texture
• Stainless Steel grip adds 320 grams (11.3 ounces) over plastic Prodigy grip
• Additional weight completely changes the feel of the pistol and reduces felt recoil for quicker split times

NOTE: With this early production version of the grip, the tall baseplate on some 20-round Springfield magazines may require light sanding of the front top corners of the baseplate to provide adequate clearance to allow full insertion. Alternatively, you may replace the tall baseplate with the smaller Springfield magazine baseplate or an aftermarket baseplate. (That said, this batch of grips fit the sample mags we have on hand without any modification.)

Many of you have asked how the grip size compares to the original Prodigy polymer grip. The Warwick Tactical grip is slightly smaller in both width and circumference, with the most noticeable difference being the reduced circumference near the bottom of the grip.
